Why?

Why are we so consumed with how the media, government, and atheists treat Christianity?

Our battle isn’t against flesh and blood. At the Cross, Jesus said “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

The same applies today.

Until they become born again and renew their minds, they have no idea what they’re doing. They are lost sons and daughters for whom Heaven went bankrupt for. God wanted His kids to come home.

Don’t let what they don’t see influence what you do see.

Let’s walk out true Christianity and give people what we say we have.

  1. Wow, isn’t that the truth? ….filled up in the morning with God’s Word, then hit on every side all day. Prayed yesterday for new friends to support me in my faith walk and have been encouraged by your follow. Thanks Chris. I’ll check out your work. Happy New Year!

  3. well i find that the reason we are attacked is people that dont know what its like to know the love of the lord cant understand how people can have the devotion that we due even when its written in the bible that those who follow christ will be hated and attacked and we still follow and not many can comprehend a feeling like that.but then there are those of us that have a hard time dealing with being a target when all we do is try to promote understanding even with those who attack us,there are times i to get upset but i try to remember that the lord told us the price of haveing his love.

  4. You are so right. As Christians we tend to take the actions of sinners too close to heart. It hurts….but we have to remember just as you say…we wrestle not against flesh & blood but against principalities…powers…rulers of darkness in this world…against spiritual wickedness. That scripture makes you realize that it’s beyond you as a person. That we have to rely on God to handle it all. That sinners are going to do what sinners do. We have to pray one day they will come into the the light of Christ just as we have. You made so simple. Love it!

  5. Chris..you are so right. Especially on here. I have been literally assailed by a group of atheists, one in particular. It’s too easy to make a fight personal when that happens. But with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I am avoiding that temptation…mostly LOL. It is a good chance to present the Gospel with those guys..sadly some never take it but just argue and fuss. Thanks for another great article Brother.
